Fog Lights On / Off ?

Postby Stu » Fri Oct 06, 2006 1:30 am

Just wondering, do you drive around with your foggies on / off ?

I prefer to have them on all the time.

It has always puzzled me, as to why some do and some don't. I prefer the look of them being on.

Only legal during periods of fog, otherwise it's a fine for those trend setters who think they look cool. Just ask any early Suzuki GTI owner what the coppers think of them!

Learn a new thing everyday (even from someone like you :P )

So what would constitute 'fog', and are the police now extensively trained in meteorology :?: :)

I haven't even been questioned by the police regarding the foggies, even when pulling over for the booze bus which seems to be the only time I ever deal with them.

A: It's against the law. ($94 fine) If there is no fog.

B: They're for poseurs.

C: They really annoy the crap out of other motorists.

D: They aren't there to look pretty.

E: They're FOG lights.

$75 fine in NSW.

I don't bother having them on,they don't actually do much, havn't had a chance to try them in fog.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE
