It might take me a little while to save that much in dollar value of fuel...
What a beast though. The range is awesome too.
Looks like I have a new "lotto car".

Agree that it's not a roadster and is a targa top. Is quick, fast and seats 4.

hmmm
v = u + at where v = 100km/h = 27.7778 m/s, u = 0 and t = 1.9
a = (v – u) / t = 27.7778 / 1.9 = 14.62m/s2 = 1.49g

OK, 1.49g is possible, I didn’t think it would be at first ... that's low enough for your teeth to stay away from the back of your skull. Who cares about the sound when you can be slammed into the back of the seat like that!

it's not about saving $$ with fuel.
it's about renewable energy.

why is that so hard to fathom?

/end rant....

I get it. I'd never even heard of this car before today.
I'm unable to afford it so justified with the cost of saving fuel.

Tesla appear to be leading the way in full electric cars and it's decent looking too!

It's also not 0-100 in 1.9 seconds. It's 0-60mph

Lots of videos out there about the performance of Tesla cars, but I found this one mildly amusing... ‘ludicrous mode’ indeed :!:

If it can get the distance that is claimed. This is a game changer.

For for electrics. They are only about renewables when the power supply is renewable. Which Australia is not about thanks to less than forward thinking leaders. So in the end this cars would still be powered by non-renewables most of the time.

Best bang for buck hypercar! Great to be living in the evolutionary age of going from combustion engine to full electric motor vehicles. Imagine in couple generations they be laughing at our generation when we had "automatic transmission combustion engine performance cars".

That semi is the biggest game changer, less noise, quicker acceleration means smoother traffic flow (imagine being out accelerated in your 2.0ND by a semi, lol) and instant roadkill with the toughened windscreen (could use that tech for other purposes too). Your Amazon orders arrive quicker, lol...
