The CB is a great little car.

RWD, super easy to work on, etc.

I had one as my first car (well, CB2, so facelifted lights, and a 5speed manual instead of the 4)

From memory they share a lot of bits with early RX7s, so rotary swaps supposedly arent a particularly difficult thing.

I do miss mine, but tbh I have no need for another car.
And if I did i'd probably grab a big old barge of a 929/millenia instead.

The bids are at $1300, not the price is $1300.
Just a boring piece of boredom.

This is the one I wish I had bought in 1970. I had a white 1966 1500 SS Manual offered for $1100.
There was a local metallic light green one with chromies and dome hubcaps that looked really great.

Ha! That looks exactly like the one I did my licence test in. It was only a month old and I think the testing officer was so rapt with the car he didn't take any notice of what I did.

My first car was the coupe version of the facelift model with a 12a in it. I loved that thing.

That colour on the Series 1 RX7 was a real delight!

I had one of those 1500’s too. Traded it on a RX2. These days I would have keep it longer as it was a great cruiser..interior fell apart though.

Good mate bought an old white 1500 SS as his first car. Motor was very tired, but once that was rebuilt it went well.
