Re: Fan Boy
Ha! Yes Bruce, my Son tipped me off to watch it. He was a bit of a character wasn't he. Love the Kilt!
Missus asked if he was on the Forum.
He had owned 4 MX5s - all NAs. I wondered if any others on here saw it.

That's a great plug for Mazda and the NC but many would not take it too seriously - what: a humble affordable Japanese sports car that nearly all of us can afford to own and maintain? I agree with the guy about the SUVs but those vehicles are more for function rather than driving pleasure .

Re: Fan Boy
Was that the Martini one? I have seen photos of that car, but then I guess they would be decals and there might be a few around.
I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Re: Fan Boy
It would be quite stressful to appear on TV, especially a show like Hard Quiz. Stage fright is a real thing so I think he did alright.

Have a look at the woman whose special subject was "The Jack Russell terrier".
The guy who won answered most of her questions.
(admittedly he was lightning on the buzzer.)

After reading this I watched ABC iView hard quiz. His description of his 4th real car is classic tv.
6' 7" red tardis owner (spacious 89 NA8 clone) and cleaned up 92HZ SBY.

Re: Fan Boy
Yep, that was Miles.
I've met him at a couple of times at club events. Didn't know that he had damaged the 'Martini' MX-5 until I saw the Hard Quiz episode.

What a nerd!
(of course we're all similar but we won't admit it).
