Looking for HANS post nut washers

Postby zossy1 » Wed Nov 26, 2014 2:03 pm

Hi guys,

Anyone know anywhere where I can source a set of HANS nutwashers like this?

http://www.lpiracing.com/HANS-Nutwasher ... p25405.htm

I thought my helmet was a SAH2010 but it is actually only SA2010 and does not have the captive nuts for my FIA2010 HANS posts. Most places seem to require you to buy a full new set of posts with the nut washers...

I just spoke to racerindustries.com.au yesterday and ordered their budget HANS. I asked for posts with it and they asked me if I needed those nut/washer things as well. I did so they said they'd give me them with the posts - $50 for posts and nut/washer thingies. Shipping estimate was 2 days to far south coast. Might be worth giving them a call - 1300 738 553.

Will do, thanks Phil. I should have ordered them with my HANS but my helmet has the recessed moulding for the posts and everything... I should have looked closer. Mine came from Demon Tweeks so was hoping to find something a little more local.

I got some from velo when I found my velo helmet need them. I don't think they were that expensive. Maybe give them a call?
Cheers,
