sh*t just escalated

heavy duty clutch & lightweight flywheel for Feennix.

clutch replacement.jpg

had a major oil leak fixed as well , it came from the VVT oil pick up. so Ive tossed the idea of converting this enginbe to a BP-4W head with cames.
got an inter cooler kit on he way....so all thats remaining is the turbo & turbo plumbing.
drive shaft also got some extra strong bolts.

I won’t be able to make it down driving until earlier in the new year, but it’s definitely on the cards

after he disappointing result with the Kracken inter cooler not arriving the Turbo has been put on the backburner for now. It will happen eventually

things are in progress to have the valves replaced ,bigger size , re-seated & cams correctly spaced and some repairs to the damaged head. It will take a few weeks .so Im removing the VVT head & replacing it with my old hero shaved ported BP-4W head

cams are high lift10.9mm 232@0.50 or around 272 or a tad more. The engine will be interference.

compression is close to 11.5:1

should be nice & dramatic

not sure where HP will be but I dont care, its about the drama

I have 2 spare engines 1xVVT as well as the BP-4W one so I may decide to install rods & pistons before the turbo , but its not really required as the turbo I have in the cardboard is a GT2554R

What happened with the intercooler?

A dramatic high-comp cam'ed NA build does sound dramatic and fun!

That's a shame. I think Kraken is struggling under the weight of his own success right now. And it's about to get worse because the Carpassionchannel on Youtube just did a video on his install of the Kraken low mount and exhaust.
