Federal RS-RR opinions?

Postby SIB » Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:00 pm

Need to replace my AD08Rs and wanted to try the Hankook RS4s that many people are using. But seems there are none to be found anywhere. I can get the RSRRs in 195/50/15 for $140 fitted.
Any views from those that have used these on the track? Thanks.

Hankook 195/50R15 won't be back in stock for another 4 weeks. RS-RR is a decent tyre but noisy. Bridgestone RE71RS is now available in 195/50R15 and 205/50R15 but is around double the price of RS4. If your using the tyre for best lap times the Bridgestone may be worth the investment. Yokohama also has the A052 but again, expensive.

Picked up a set yesterday and haven't had them fitted yet so can't comment, but I've heard good reviews on the new Zestino Gredge 07RS. Closer in price to RS-RR than the RE71RS.

Great news! Rego due in 5 weeks and my ad08r were lineball last year because of shoulder wear.
