The same ones you were using evil

khumo v700 from peaks performance.

As it is ill do a 1.10" something, just gota smooth out a few of the corners, brake a tad later. That time was done in lap 2 of the race! Tyres were still comming up to temp.

(breathing life into a new thread........)

At Wakefield today, cracked 1.1400 a number of times, the best being 1.13.55 new pb.

Think I have finally earnt some added horespower. Wanted to wait until I improved before adding horses, so the engine is bog standard....now to formulate the wish list.....

Well done Craig!

As many have said here, one of the best mods is seat time!

Thanks Chris, and yeah too true. Got some good advice - some right here on this forum :D - when I got started 6 months ago.

Actually, the best advice was - from Stewart I think - listen to lots of advice, but ignore all of it.

a PB yesty but not by much...a tenth!

down to a 1.12.7 - way off motomenaces' pace - gimmie them slicks Matty!!!!!!
thought it was going to be a better day as ran a 1.12.9 in qual where I normally run low 13's so thought I had potential to get low 12's!

oh well, as they say there is always next time.

oh, thought I might add car was tuned and makes 82rwkw so Im still happy to be in the 12's consistantly with that power (lack of!)

They're awesome times Craig! Is the car still basically stock with R specs? Love to see how some more horses under the bonnet would improve things!

Thanks Spence. A few handling mods PSS9 coilovers and ebc pads, 6ul wheels, on semi's toyo r888's. And safety stuff, roll-bar, seat, harness etc etc. pwr radiator and heavy duty clutch - those last two, won't make it go faster, just hopefully keep it going longer :D

Now I wanna add some horses....

Hey Chris well done, a new pb is a new pb! Will watch your vid.

Ill give u the slicks off my car that i used. Still good enough for another track day or so.
Still have plenty of grip and come up to temp well!!. Only thing is u need 8inch wheels as they are 220/225 profile.
But u can have them as i have 2 newer sets just sitting that will go off if they sit too long.
I watched your video chris and theres still alot of time in your car to find, Think by running slicks youl have the confidence to push harder. The other thing is you rev your car in 3rd when the 1.8 looses out around 7k. Ratios appear to be the same, just i dont rev mine all the way to 7500. Besides that u drive really smooth :), Think you'd be a good co-driver for the 300races next year!!!

I think 1.10's is all a standard motor can muster around there!! A 6 speed might let it see high 9's.

As long as we get faster each weekend we go out were doing ok ;)
