I'm sure I can find the time and money for this :D
Speed costs money. How fast would you like to spend?

Let's see who can make it for Friday January 10,Saturday11th and Sunday the 12th..maybe a short night run on the Friday night. A big 400 k run on the Saturday and maybe beachy tourist day on the Sunday.. Foster , pacific palms is nice, Ball park might be $100 a day for all food and accommodation.

The new MG Ringwood track is not complete. Tar is still fresh, some run offs and kerbing yet to go in, tyre barriers not built yet, other incomplete works such as drains and conduit yet to be laid + tracks yet to be approved by Sport and Rec or CAMS. The temptation for individuals to simply drive on to the new circuit is too great for some, and the club may not be covered if the worst was to happen.....

Maybe by January it will be ready. Not sure.

On the subject of a rich guy owning land a Ringwood, well, yes, it is true. MG Car Club sold most of their land to "Italia Road Holdings" (Google it) a couple of years ago, for the purpose of a race circuit. The 3km race track has been approved. Works begin in 2014, hopefully to be ready by 2015. The planner told me Tuesdays will be reserved for the owner and his exotic car collection.

Thoughts on an annual get together for people that do not want to spend $2000 for a 3 day getaway.
Bulahdelah is 700k's from Brisbane..250 from Sydney. 500 from Canberra..1200 from Melbourne unfortunately.
I own this old Motel and room costs are only $70 a night.. Ringwood hillclimb can be hired for $75.The hunter valley is full of good drives and things to do..Oxley highway is just up the road. It could be on the same weekend as the expensive Natmeet or any other long weekend.. Shoot me down in flames if you feel the need.

Great idea You forgot to give Newcastle a mention or Tea Gardens or Nelson Bay or Forster never mind I did. Cheers Eunos90

The difference with Bulahdelah is that Patrick owns the local motel, so he can provide accommodation etc.

I'm in if we can get the track. We've got rellies in Newcastle and we spend a bit of time there anyway. Promise me there'll be no fancy dress nights. :D
