I suspect it was just given to the pristine cars/club members.
A really disappointing effort. Why offer it at all?

I missed it too then!!!

Judging was supposed to be before the Parade Lap. I barely noticed anyone doing anything.
A lot of people went to some effort, without any known result. I was hoping to win 'most modified' - a category which probably doesn't exist. I reckon they just went the Concours ratings (a bit optimistic for an MX5).

I wonder if any MX5 Club Vic guys could find the results and post them?

My memory was that after the final sprint session there was going to be some presentation(s), but when I went down to return the timer nothing was happening. Anyway I suspect not many went to get the $2 trophy :)

The sort of people who polish their cars obsessively just to please an old man with a clipboard are probably the ones that want a $2 trophy.

I would not even have won the person who traveled the longest distance to be there award :)

However, if there was a competition for the ratio of diesel to E85 consumed to attend, I would be in the running with a 10:1 ratio (500 ltrs diesel for 50 ltrs of E85). But this sounds like I'm making categories that only I could win at :)

I am pretty sure there was a 10AE that won the show and shine. Heard the guy being interviewed over the loud speaker

Surely you'd win longest drive there? I feel I may be a chance at third or fourth place in this category.

No I think it would have been Mark Fry as he lives on the North side of Brisbane, he was a few hundred more than me :)

Nice vid from Mazda, pity they edited out the start and end of the drone flight so you could see every MX-5 on track.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
