What is this wire for? NA6

NA6...

because i'm lazy... pic is from the RHS of the boot and the silver is the aerial etc....

Anyone know what the blue wire is? :D :D :D :D

Could be an electric aerial cable.

Could be for an alarm boot switch.

Looks non factory since its not taped up.

My guesses:
Electric boot release
Sensor for alarm
Boot light
Power feed for some random accessory in the car (and previous owner didn't want to tap into a live wire in the cabin)


Just follow where it ends and you'll likely find the answer.

Yes i think it must be the alarm i had installed in about 1998 and haven't used since about 2004!
