Bluetooth wireless FM Radio adapter

Postby madmort » Wed Apr 29, 2020 3:22 pm

Just purchased a Bluetooth FM adapter, charger to plug into my cigarette lighter in my 02 NB. Now I'm rather slow to pick up on technology and only just discovered this unit a week ago.
It plays music from my phone wirelessly through the 18 year old stereo, now this isn't hi fidelity but it will do me. To think that i can stream music from phone to near antique car stereo is astounding I recon.
What will they think of next.
Cheers

Baseus Wireless Bluetooth5.0 FM Transmitter Radio Adapter MP3 Player Car Charger. It streams music and navigates at the same time, It does not turn off music but quietens it when navigating, ( Thats probably the phone. ) seems to do everything I want. USB charger as well. For $21.95 delivered it is a cheap toy.
Pic shortly.

I have used these before - problem was the FM reception is dependent on there being no competition, which will interfere with the functioning and worst case overwhelm it, requiring the unit to be retuned to another frequency and the radio adjusted to suit. This was so frequent I just gave up.

Hopefully things have improved now.

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Thanks for that. As you can see it's tuned to 87.5 on the FM band, crystal clear so far but haven't dríven a hell of a lot. We'll see.
