Gday boys & girls..

Here’s what’s new;

- Installed the Torsen type 2 4.3 diff – gave it a good clean & spray.. looks like new. I don’t know why I waited so long to do this, very noticeable acceleration & traction changes. Interested to see if this improves my time at WP. I did end up getting into the 114’s last outing..so fingers crossed.
- Car has been in drift spec mode.. dríven very sensibly, no hooning around industrial estates here.. *cough
- Spanner checked & cleaned underneath the car, minor service performed
- Have a set of 15x8+28 rays gramlights 57DR in semi-gloss black on the way, aiming to wrap these in toyo r888r’s or rs4's
- I might sell the current 6ul + RS3’s set up.. yet TBC
- Attended my first track day at Luddenham motorsport park 9 Dec, ran a best time of 56.6 & came 3rd outright on the day however, sadly, i over-steered into a small hill & damaged my front bar, the front lip is destroyed.. i think my allignment is slightly out of whack too. Very sad.. but that's how it goes sometimes, 4 years or so pushing the car hard..without any major damage, in my books aint too bad. in hindsight it could've been worse. so now onto fixing it, i maybe able to get away with repairing the existing bar.. fun & games.

anywho, the turd's doing okay.

found this bastard lodged in the cross member/arms, the cause of what i originally thought was suspension issues/knocking.. thanks SMP gravel trap.

Drift spec bruh.. trying to blend in with the S chassis boys.

Every 6 months or so when you post I'm always struck by how awesome this car looks but I can't remember any details because it's been so long. Then I have to go back through this thread to remind myself of the work done to it!

Same here. Love this car! Such a nice example of a NB that looks the goods and also gets used.

Stuff has arrived..

- Rays 57dr
- shinkai ducktail spoiler
- garage vary carbon canards

I have the new garage vary lip which arrived earlier, this along with the ducktail need paint prior to install. the front of the car should look more aggressive with the canards, car in general will have a nice black & blue theme with carbon highlights. as to when these items will be on the car.. only God knows at this stage.

Stuff has happened..

I've installed carbon vagina flaps to improve air lubrication at the front end of the car, they make the car look really fast.. but really its a turd. Also, finally installed a nice clean looking ducktail.. rear badge & 3rd brake light deleted.. looks somewhat cleaner.

Are they SE headlights or NB8B that have been painted?

Betterment:

I ended up going RS4's for practicality reasons, but the r888r's/semi's will come later down the track.

Here's what the car needs:
- some sort of clean looking yet functional vented bonnet (heat soak purposes)
- testicles..via engine department..
- a damned track day..

Where is this car going:
- given most if not all the new cars being released on the market today are of absolutely no interest to me.. are way too refined & ultimately homo.. this car will remain in my ownership for maximum, unassisted & raw thrashing pleasure.
- forced induction........ ?

keep it real,
Jas.

Why’s that exactly?

They slice through flesh.

ie. Same reason hood pins are illegal, if you hit a pedestrian, they cause more injury than without them, which is why they're not OEM from ANY manufacturer in the last 20 years (airflow channels are moulded into the bumper and they don't have edges).

Most cops would probably ignore them but if you get one on a bad or slow day, they'll defect you for it and look for other issues.

External modz like this are just advertising that your car has been modded and gives the police a reason to pull you over.
