After about 90,000Ks Daily duties and track time, car was handling badly, crashy and rattly.
Right rear BC BR damper stuffed.
Replaced 'inserts' on both rear coilovers
All fixed, ride comfort and handling back to normal in two hours!
$390 for two replacement dampers delivered.
Glad it was the rears.
Reasonably easy job. https://vimeo.com/191732584

Also handy of BC to sell just the part you needed (Just Jap I presume?).

Update for those playing at home.
Minx still going strong, daily dríven with occasional track play.
187,000 Ks
Only changes that I can think of are new spark plugs and new SS Nitro Dan Axle back muffler.

Big cleaning day today. Had to get the Gerni out after a silly off and ride through a wet ditch.
Awesome day at Norwell Motorplex with the MX5 Club. Highly recommend having a go there. Tight challenging, rewarding track. Ended up with low 1.05 laps, 1.04s very much achievable with couple more sessions.
Nittos very slick now, and going as well as ever.
Some Mazdaspeed stripes added for extra StickerWatts

I'm very happy with my Nitro Dan axle back muffler. What are your impressions ?
Never put the top up unless the storm has a name.

I really wanted to get out there for that one after I got the club email, even if just as a spectator.... unfortunately couldn't find anyone wanting to swap a shift at work :|
Any more pic's?

A slight indiscretion at Norwell, gave me an excuse to put a 13 year old Minx in to the local paint applicator for a freshen up.
Both side sill(stripes down) redone in stone guard, front bumper reconditioned and emblem deleted, front lip boot spoiler side mirrors and windscreen frame done in gloss black. Looks tidy now. ImageImageImageImageImage

I like it  The black highlights really suit it.

Since the ND, I've also considered the black windscreen surround and mirrors, but having just put my factory velocity red hard top back on today for the first time in three years, I decided probably not a good idea unless I wanted to re-spray the hard top black as well :?

Thanks a lot MINX.
I have some learning to do. What hardware do you use on your setup and which Harry do you have?
