Enjoying the thread, hope to see more. You mind sharing the specs on your rims, they're beautiful!

So nostalgic seeing the photos of the green one! I think the trauma of having seen one too many tyres fly off my car was the real reason your old car finally died though
Very happy Tic Tac is back! Good transplanting work with the Meisters
P.S. I hope you're framing the old plate

Re: Let's try this again - Alex's NB
Bit of an update; have moved over some parts from my other car!
Firstly more loud off my old car (matches the P-plate)
Added a GV lip and some red tow hooks:
Measure once and drill thrice right?!
Installed the old roll bar with a help of a mate
Changed over the springs/coils:
How it is at the moment:
Also took the car to Wakefield on Labour day, managed a best of 1:16.6. I was hoping for a little bit quicker but I blame boiling the brake fluid/traffic instead of my driving .
Honorable mention aswell to a rear sway bar link as well which gave up during said track time:
In other news, my other NB is now just a bare shell. I never got around to slamming it so I literally dropped it on its rails last Sunday!

I have heard dropping the rear away can help get the power down!
I'm very pleased with the transformation, nice work champ.

Gee Alex, you've done it the tow hooks the right way! I just undid the under tray and went under the car.

I didn't even do that and it was the most fiddly and frustrating thing to do!

Grabbed the lip from Tetsuya Garage, came pretty quick.
And yeah, about the holes; I thought the old holes for the lip would line up, maybe they changed the holes slightly?! Quite surprised at that
