It's horrible, you can't possibly run with it. I'll take it off your hands, just to help you out. I'm good like that.

Argh, I want one so bad! I think colour matched will look great.

Almost 7 years of ownership now.. The blue turd is sadly for sale! What a journey it's been, I remember when I was about to sell my s15 for this car, everyone I spoke with said I was crazy.. that I was taking a step backwards.. turned out, they were completely wrong. Hands down this has been the most fun car I've owned.. not to mention it being a true, balanced, driver focused car and allowing me to become a better driver, absolutely no regrets - it's served its purpose.

If I had room I would keep it.. sadly I can't. I hope it goes to a good owner!

Sorry to see you sell, I do love this car.

I think you'll get a lot of kids balking at the price, but the value is definitely there. It will take a particular buyer who knows MX-5s and knows the quality of the mods you've made and what they bring to the table. This is a rare car that doesn't need any further development.

Good luck with the sale, and for whatever comes next.

Thanks very much, I appreciate it.

I think you are spot on, I'm prepared for many to laugh at the price but the truth is for it's age and for the amount i've spent on quality parts VS it's mechanical health and the way it drives - I think the price is fair. It's a ready to go road or track package.

Would you sell the SE headlights separately?

I think the longer I hold onto it, the more the value will rise. It will come a day where manual non-robotic cars will be highly desired.

All I will say is there is something happening in the background.

The current increased values is only temporary. Wait until covid immunisations are done and demand for cars will drop.

Regardless of uptake of vax, which you'd be suprised how many wont be taking..you really think things are going back to normal?! You can't immunise against a common flu.

I too originally thought this is some crazy artificially inflated phase, if you put your ear to the Japanese sports car market..do your own research, you'll see that the golden era cars are becoming more desirable and quality supply becoming difficult. Take into account US importing opening up & the fact that it's harder to find a clean manual car.. as time goes on, its only going to become worse/more costly.

Yes, but an NB is not an NA.
I'm talking the general rise in prices for normal boring cars not the collectible stuff.

Yeh I get ya.. comes down to subjectivity. Many prefer the nb over na..like i did when initially searching..also define normal & boring.. for those who know what true drivers cars are, wont think that at all. Both share the same chassis, heck the nb shares similar design/body lines of the FD.

My previous car was an s15.. i found that to be somewhat boring, today others would pay over 40k for an abused one. In any case, people will pay what they believe what something is worth.

Damn man. Was hoping you'd take this car to the next level and turbo it. By far one of my fav builds on this forum. Good luck with sale.

Thanks for the kind words mate. I honestly had it in mind..went as far as obtaining quotes to do it, but human nature is we want variety.. I think 7 years was a good run.

I get a flu shot every year. Haven't had the flu since.
