Kev, if you want you can have a go in my SE. Has all the normal bolt ons for the motor, 160rwkw, wheels and coilovers. Saves you having to spend cash to see what you like.

Thanks. As far as engine bolt on's go I'm as far as I want to go for now with CAI, TBI, FMIC, MBC, full exhaust and ChipTorque tune. No idea what my power would be, but it's enough for this old codger

Suspension, as mentioned will probably happen, but is a long way's off ... gotta get the wife healthy again then see where we are heading ...

Always happy to meet others and talk cars if nothing else

A couple of years ago I replaced my stock HVAC dials with some RS Products vintage dials and had quite a few emails asking about them. There hasn't been a lot of choices for NB's around but I just noticed a new post on ClubRoadster for several new RevLimiter HVAC dial designs that also look good and thought I'd post a link to them here for anyone interested ...

I saw RevLimiter released those yesterday.

I think I still like the RS ones better, but I know Rev could match or better them if I asked. I also want the chrome rings for the HVAC dials that RS sells...

Was time to spruce up the Beatrush radiator panel I'd painted black and fitted 3 years ago. The paint had lasted pretty well considering I did absolutely no prep on it, just used Wrinkle Black directly on the anodised (?) gold finish, and heat treated it with my wife's hair dryer! But had started peeling in places, so last week I rubbed it back and repainted it...

Gave my car a wash today and the paint felt and sounded like sandpaper! Dried it off and there was a film of something all over it, even the windows felt rough. So gave it a full claybar treatment, re-wash and dry and wax. During all this, I was thinking this might be from the coffee grinding business nearby (stinks when wind in our direction!). Then realised it must have been the paint dust from when I painted the panel! I made this mistake once before and had started the habit of moving the car as a just in case, even though it's a decent distance away - it's like a wind tunnel and the dust travels! Anyway, didn't even think of it when I painted the panel this time  - all fixed now ...

I've been meaning to give my car a good detail, it's dríven every day and lives outside while I'm at work so it lives a relatively hard life. But it's going to be an all day process when I throw in a polish as well! But, I'd better get to it before summer arrives in full force.

Your car came up very nicely in that last photo!

... and so another year on!! No mods or anything to mention, can't think of anything I've wanted to change! She's sitting at 56627kms this morning, so after we go out for a drive today around Kadina, Moonta, Port Hughes and wherever else we may end up then get back to the Villa where we're staying in Wallaroo, she'd have done close to 20k kms in those five years with me. She's changed for the better in that time, but still holds on to that original character they instilled from the factory. She still has quirky little flaws, and I like that.

Excellent! You've found the balance point, something some of us overshoot  All you have to do is drive and enjoy.
