Loch Stewart Memorial Run IV 26/01/09 - Updated

Postby SPy vs. SPy » Thu Jan 08, 2009 10:19 pm

Date: 26th January 2009

Start: Start at the car park behind the “Cottonwood Plaza” shops, Cottonwood Place at Oxenford. See picture below

(If you have already plotted a course to Coomera Hope Island Cricket Club, Tamborine-Oxenford Rd (Oxenford end) Exit 57 off the M1 then you're 50 metres away :) )

Image

Start Time: 0930 for 1000

1 hour to morning tea for 30 minutes, then 1 hour to lunch.

Lunch/Finish: Crams Farm, just outside Uki.
per the link there are plenty of BBQ facilities available but as it will be a public holiday it's a first in best dressed to get onto one.

Please Note: Both Morning Tea and Lunch are BYO
also No Pets and No Swimming at the Dam

RSVP's are not required due to the self catering mentioned above but would be nice :) to presmx5@miata.net.au

Volunteers to lead groups of ten cars would also be appreciated

see you there

At this stage no-one is interested in serving us lunch, so we may just drive around till we get bored, then go home

Watch this space.

It's been about 15 years since I was last there. I sort of recall a largish area (areas?) that fitted a whole gaggle of MGs in there. Whether it would hold 50 or so MX-5s and still have room for the occupants is another matter..........

There is also an area called Crams Farm at the southern end of the dam area which has BBQs, toilets etc. Might be more area available there.
