RACQ Motorfest

Postby Steampunk » Sun Nov 22, 2015 11:46 pm

I would like to organise a display for next year. It's held in July.
My aim is to showcase as many different models as possible, and all are welcome, the more the merrier as they say.

I'm starting this thread now, in case people with unmodified cars change their setup, or conversely, motivate people to do up their car 8) .

Please copy and paste the list below and add your name appropriately, with a very brief description of several of your most visually distinct mods) so I have a fair idea of what you have and your availability. Don't feel like you are obliged to do anything as of yet as we'll just treat this as an EOI for the time being.

Due to the fact that it's a static car show, and thus the focus is on what spectators can see, your car would be regarded as modified if it has any significant visual differences from OEM, so if you happen to have a highly-modified engine internally (forged bits, high compression, etc), but nothing that shows it visually, and the rest of your car is standard, then it would still be "Unmodified.

In a nutshell, it would be awesome to get as many cars as possible from an early NA6 concourse, to heavily modified 2B race car and everything in between.

If your car is a Limited Edition of any kind, please state it.

Please feel free to PM me for any queries.

Thanks in advance

I always mean to attend Motorfest, but forget. And I work at RACQ!

I'd be keen to get involved.

Should ask Danny if he wants to fill the NC Extensive modification slot with his 20B?

Could we set up a TV at the display and play videos of the cars doing track days, pleasure drives and/or a montage of photos etc?
