I'll try to make it. Good opportunity to try out the new suspension.

We have family visiting from interstate that weekend, so I'll have to excuse myself (or bring one of them along maybe)

I would like to attend with my other half.

I have met a few people used to have a white NA - just bought an NC. Looking for a leisurely drive not a flat out run (yet to get a handle on the car) so I might go last.

Can we confirm if this is going ahead?

I will be leaving from Springfield lakes...I think Gladiator is around here somewhere?

Daffy, have you sorted out the E85 locations near by? I'm on 98 right now, but it's slooooooow! Not sure if I should switch back this weekend or not.

On the flipside, it's nice getting more than 300km to a tank

Caltex at 126 Warwick Rd, Ipswich QLD 4305 has flex fuel (normally around E80)
United at 203 Brisbane Rd, Booval QLD 4304 has E85 (normally around E82)
Magpies - around 100ltrs of E85 normally :)

I found one nearest the start for me at 377 Beaudesert Beenleigh Rd, Windaroo QLD 4207. And one at 203 Brisbane Rd, Booval QLD 4304 nearest the end (this is coming from and returning to Brisbane). That makes a total end-to-end trip of 214kms. I'm not sure if that'll work or not, it should be safe as long as we don't have too many detours. I'll have to decide this afternoon if I'm going to switch back.

My mileage on E85 has no relation to yours, I don't live at 6k RPM for hours (probably measured in minutes for you) at a time! Though I do have a lot of idle time and moving off from a stop which eats up fuel.

Mileage is overrated
31 Ferry Rd Southport
171 Nerang Broadbeach Rd Carrara (new one)
310 Olsen Av Parkwood...... and of course chateau de Magpie!
I will have some spare full jerry cans in the boot on the day as usual ( and yes JBT, I can hear you laughing out loud as you read this  )

Can't to commit to coming unfortunately, not sure exactly sure how the weekend will pan out for me just yet.

If it all goes to plan and we get a chance to head out for a run, we might just take our chances and tag along in the hope of joining you for lunch if space is available.

Lunch space available if you don't get a better offer.
