EOI Great Alpine Road Run - Sunday March 22nd 2009
These runs are a really good idea. However the assumption is trip is Melb- Wang - Bright-Omeo-Bairnsdale-Melb. If that is correct the distance is around 850 km and elapsed time without stops is 11 hours.The Bright/ Beechworth/ Rutherglen/ Myrtleford/ Mt Beauty area and the roads are really enjoyable. There is any amount of places to eat or have a beer and look at the scenery and take photo's. Please do not take this as a cold water job- a run is good fun.
