Hey Pete
I like the lump of metal stuck in your engine bay.
Are you going to make the 20th?
We all missed you at the last event.
Cheers

Oh damn. Missed it. Not that I could make it anyway, as I had to work Saturday.

Nice air heater isn't it!

Will I make the 20th? At this rate I doubt it! The charger install is coming along nicely, still a few fidly bits to sort out but nothing impossible. Making an intake that clears the clutch master cylinder reservoir is probably the biggest issue, might be easiest to use a remote reservoir to gain some space for an elbow off the throttle body. The other biggie is 5th injector control, can't decide between changing the megasquirt for an adaptronic, or running a second megasquirt as a piggyback just to run one injector.

Can't wait to get it out on the track and at DTEC, no more down shifting to first for the end turns.

A lot of the early turbo systems had a 5th injector and you had to try and make it work but it was too much of a pain.
Would you not upsize the 4 existing injectors and get the computer remapped to control them.
That's what I did on my old system and I'm pretty sure Ian & Les have done the same.

The coldside supercharger can’t fit an intercooler, so the main purpose of the fifth injector under the supercharger is cooling the intake charge. Theoretically water is much better for cooling than fuel, but the 5th injector adding 10 or 15% of the overall fuel required seems to work well (FFS customers seem happy) and allows you to keep the stock injectors without maxing out the duty cycle. I will probably upgrade to supra injectors anyway, but the 5th injector or water injection must be used for the pulleys I am running, which should be good for ~11 psi boost.

Probably time for me to get off my bum and make a garage thread on the install process instead of making a mess in this thread.
