It's ON
There is a chance of a shower however as long as it doesn't rain the venue should be good. For those heading down to Avalon, there are a couple of freeway detours in place until mid morning.
Next round of the Victorian Motorkhana Championship is Round 2 at Deniliquin To make for a great weekend the Deniliquin Sports Car Club put on a Autocross on the Saturday and the Motorkhana on the Sunday.
If you are considering attending please check this thread on the Saturday morning for any late developments.

Looks like the MX5 crowd is just us for this event Others are saving up for the Nationals!
I'm booked in at the Deniliquin Country Club Motor Inn as it's a short stagger from the RSL, ask for a room down the hill from reception!

May have to meet you there Bob, just called them and they don't have any rooms big enough for my tribe. I'm going have to caravan park it. See you up there.
Spoke to the event organizer this morning and there is plenty of room for that last minute entries.

Pity there is no room at the Country Club
The Motorkhana fraternity spread themselves around the town for accommodation. I believe Mike and Chris (red special) stay at the caravan park.
Might be worth an email to Bill for seats for dinner on the Saturday night
Are you up for the Autocross on Saturday?

There's room there but I would need two rooms and it's a budget thing.

I still can't get my head around putting the mx5 around autocross track. I've nearly finished the Escort, that I would take out there.

Each to their own and a budget is a very personal thing.

Guarantee once you see the Autocross track you will kick yourself for not entering, same as I did the first time.
