I'm a bit of a noob with the track scene and am about to order some harnesses, Do the harnesses still have to be in date for club sprints ?

You can continue to use a harness for 5 years after its listed date for anything except international level events i believe...
There is a schedule in the cams manual which details the rule.
My harness says valid till 2010, i can continue to use it until 2015.
