I was wondering when you compete in club sprints what is the classification of standard. I have a NB8A what are the limitations to remain in std class eg adjustable suspension .. exhaust.. wheels and tyres ... cold air intake ... rear diff ratios..brakes etc

Check with the rule makers for the event. Definitions can be inconsistent, for example at world time attack Clubsprint means it could have been registered once :)

AS above, check with the organizers of the event as each club applies their own version of classification.

Normally standard allows airbox replacement, exhaust replacement from headers back, must keep original headers, brake lines can be replaced with braided tyres, street legal tyres.

The tyres tend to be the big one when it comes to organizers applying their own version of classification.

The MX5 club Victoria/Tasmania are coming to Tasmania in November 2018 to run sprints at Baskerville and Symmons Plains by looking at previous results there are so many classes was just asking clarification of std class for NB.

Then contact the MX5 of Victoria/Tasmania for clarification of what they class as standard.

Thank you ...yes that is what I was after.. ok so t looks like I can change exhaust cat back that's all. Looks like the reason I can change exhaust is to bring up to around same performance as NB8B. One thing I can't find is do I have to run 15 inch wheels or can I go to 16's

15s are faster and the tyres are a lot cheaper.

You can go to 16s but as manga said above, 15s are faster, cheaper and better availability ...

Yeah I know the 15's would be faster but I have 16's on it with Bridgestone RE003 tyres ... will have to do.
