CTP & Indemnity emailed to Comp Sec :wink:

Oops - thanks for the reminder for the CTP.

Workmate is going to bring his R33 GT-R, despite its clutch apparently being on the way out. The other colleague with the Excel has bought himself a rally car, but won't be there.

I got the nicest young lady at Suncorp in Mebourne, she assked my address for confirmation and I gave that to her adding '700sqm with room for a pony!' and that totally cracked her up! We had a good laugh and the CTP was to me within 2-3 mins

Well done Suncorp :wink:

Hi All,

I'm looking to attend on the 8th - apologies though can someone school me as this is my first time out in a while;
If I read correctly - as a non-member - the fee is $150. This is to be paid to the bank details listed in 'adidistyle's post above, and then an email to the address to confirm. Is that all that is required at this stage? Ignore everything about this QR system that everyone mentions?

Yep, pay $150 (non-member) now to the Club to make the Monday deadline or the price goes up. Send Adam an email to advise payment.
Then you can follow up with the QR registration etc. and contact Adam for more info as required.

The details are earlier in the thread, but you will need to get a QR Raceways license and enter the event via the QR entry system. I listed the instructions in the November 2015 event thread.

Payment for the MX-5 CCQ event is through the club, not the QR system, so that's the bit you can ignore.

- you'll need a QR license, $20 for the day, $55 for 12 months. Go here (https://www.qldraceways.com.au/secure/members/login.php) and follow the Register Here link. You'll need your doctor's details (wherever you go if you need a medical certificate for work...). Payment for the license is done at this point. There'll be a form for you to sign on the day
- Enter the event. This is done via your QLD Raceway's log-in once you're set up. It's under Sprints. Pick a nice number. Your favourite number is probably taken. And your next favourite.
- timing transponder (organised on the day). If you just do the day, it'll be a $120 deposit with $100 refunded on return...or you can just buy it for $100. If it falls off because of dodgy attachments, I think that counts as 'bought'

Thanks Vat, Adam and everyone,
I see what everyone means about the QR Event site... it needs a bit of work!

Cool - be good to see you out in the other 'new' toy.

Bumped into someone at Automotive Plus on a Saturday a few weeks ago who was planning their debut on the 8th, too - older (than me) fellow, forget his name.
