Wow Shane, that's another level of commitment. I enjoyed it, keep up the good work! It's still normally aspirated? Awesome.

Thanks man. Yeah, it's still naturally aspirated. Turbos are trouble. Has about 155whp.

Good laps indeed!

I can see that I need to spend more of the lap at full throttle…

Naturally Aspirated - 59.19 lap of QR Sprint (5 speed and 4.3 final drive). I was expecting the car to be slower with the change from the 6 speed to the 5 speed.

A long drive north, but definitely worth the trek. Apologies for the inspirational music.

This location and a similar course, but in reverse, is on this weekend. I am entered, and there are about 100 entries and at least three Mx5s

I had the wrong idea..thought there were more hard chicanes/barriers...my record at Lakeside DTC circuit is a lot of over driving the car with impunity, doesn't look like stupid mistakes would be so easily brushed off here. Looks fun.

Well done Shane. That's crazy fast. I was at Lakeside recently when BF got a new PB in the 58's too! Two happy campers!

Chasing 911 at LS

Postby plohl » Fri Jul 30, 2021 3:14 pm

Thanks! I am still on a bit of a high about it. It's been a lot of work to get it.
I've heard nothing but good things for that event. Might try make it one if there is one that work time wise.

Another video from that week, race 3, trying to catch an old 911 - the driver is more than twice my age, so I hope I am driving that well when I am that old
