1991 Malibu not original, not finished, not cheap!

Postby cookie » Mon Feb 06, 2023 10:40 pm

Check the rarely updated build thread for.more detail. Haven't been on here for 2 years sadly.

Life's dictated I should sell (or keep 3 impractical cars and have zero house deposit, yay for seperation) looking around the 20k mark. You tell.me if I'm dreaming..

I'd preference someone finishing this off and enjoying it, rather than being stripped and sold for profit. There's definitely some cool bits but rarely eill a pile of parts come up like this.

It needs lots of time and effort.
It needs front big brakes or stock nb8b ones reinstated (gmhave stock na6 and possibly nb8b fronts, need to check)
It also needs cooler piping and exhaust from dump to cat mated up
Interior put back in
Ecu wiring for flex fuel etc
Skunk2 manifold welded to included flange
Driveline is complete but engine has never run since being built years ago.

Located brisbane northside.

A more detailed list of stuff that you get!

Lots of great stuff, including chassis being an absolutely straight 213k kms 1991 Malibu - GLWS!

I’d like it too, but have no space and my own project with flagging motivation.

You might sell it in parts for more than you’re asking (what I’ll do with mine if the time comes to quit on it)

Don't you dare!

Cookie, shame you never got the time to finish off this project. It's a great selection of parts, and we all love a Malibu NA, the final result would have been spectacular. This project needs the right buyer, there aren't too many out there but for someone it will be perfect! Good luck

I fear this will be sold for parts. The vultures will start to circle...

Yep. But there's interest from the lotus crowd and they all have more money than me so there's hope!

OMG a Malibu Gold with goodies........I've had two previously.....do I want a third?

I have a dodgy uncle on Bribe Island with a tilt tray truck, now I just need to bribe him to ship it south of the border.
