A GUIDE on the right OIL for your MX5

Postby beavis » Wed Apr 12, 2017 11:39 am

The whole, "best oil" discussion has been around for years... basically ever since any of us have been working on our MX-5's.

As such, I thought it would be nice to put together a quick guide (well, an opinion) on what oils to use in our cars.
Sure, this won't suit every single application, but it should apply to 95% of people. And the other 5% probably don't need me to tell them how to do it :P

Feel free to discuss below your particular circumstance and what oil you like to use.

This was the first one of your videos I've watched and was quite impressed, informative, good camera-work, a nice injection of occasional humour and your voice is very clear.

This lead me to watch some of the others too, including "Installing a Catch Can - Episode 18 - Time Attack MX-5 Miata TURBO Build":

- which leads me to the question:

Where's the video where you talk about boobs?

It's not too late to do a video of a clutch/flywheel swap.

Thanks Lokiel, that is very flattering.
Sorry but I have to comply to YouTube's content policies :(

A gearbox change is one of those things that I'd rather no relive if I don't have to.
