Mokesta's Clubman.

JR M45 Hotside kit. An old one but doesn't appear to have ever been used.
Standard diameter pulleys for now.
Will be running Mega Squirt PNP, Innovate LC-1 wideband O2 sensor and Ruzic Engineering Engine Monitor and Race logger.

Kit was just installed today so no real feedback other than the rear tyres just don't seem to be as grippy as they were... 8)

Some temporary items here just to get me running.

Hi Geoff, the practice certainly helped  .

Yes there are plans for an air to water intercooler later this year as I need to get stuck into the NC. The intercooler installation will be done in conjunction with a coolant reroute kit that I'm working on. This will provide the necessary space between the radiator and the front of the engine for the heat exchanger.

Cheers,
Danny

yeah it looks like the nose pulley that's good for an extra psi, so with the upgraded belt tensioner it should be around 7psi - 67.5mm is standard & 62.5mm is the one for a bit of extra boost.

Looks like a BR Performance pulley which is 62.5mm. If your crank pulley is standard then you'll be right at the supercharger's max rpm at redline and should be making 7 psi.

A couple of questions for you guys. I've just measured the nose pulley on my JR and it's 78.76 mm diameter, with a standard bottom pulley, what boost should I be making, and what size pulley do I need to spin the S/C to max rpm?

Er, take no notice I 've just read the thread properly, see above post.....duh

Standard engine, no mods to head or bottom end
JRSC M45, with custom made smaller pulley to give approx 9 psi
Larger injectors, can’t remember what size but I think they’re from an Evo
Ait-to-Air intercooler
Wolf ECU
Exhaust; X-Force Header, Jackson Racing high-flow Cat and Cat Back
Custom cold air intake
Great big PWR radiator to keep it all cool
Making 190 rwhp

Nice air box. I'd love something like that myself.

Loving all these Supercharged 5s.

I found some old pics.. seems appropriate to put them up here

Custom 1998 NB w/T28 BB, Autronic SM2 (Silverwater Auto Svcs)
Max about 0.85bar on stock engine makes 165kW@wheels (Performance MetalCraft)
Mazda Torsen diff 4.1 ratio (Thanks John Newells)
Tein Flex Coilovers / Clutch Upgrade (Thanks Les)
AP 4 Piston Brakes / 285x25mm rotors (Racebrakes)
Momo Rookie Seat ( getting a bit worn now ) (The mad Yacht Doctor)

Been running like clockwork for 8 years, and only has had oil and spark plugs since build.

Just got a yellow sticker for the first time this month.. No probs though :) It's all good with the DPI.

Long time no see with the old pixola mobile. I have always loved that car, it along with the original gurglr were the two MX5s I always wanted mine to be like back in the day.
