A bit of boost control bounce but yes it's very clean.

2L and a big turbo also.

That's a PWR Twincooler? Did you have any trouble fitting to the SE?

yeh that is a PWR twin cooler, only problem we had with fitment was the oil line fouling on the cooler pipe. I have turned the fitting towards the centre of the car more since that photo and clears happily

tuned on BP 98, not 2L though. Bought a brand new block after i broke a rod and is 20 thou over

it is taking some learning to drive

interesting, every online calculator i looked at does not take into account combustion chamber. my knowledge is pretty limited in this area but by using that method a standard engine size is 2046cc (as opposed to 1839cc factory stated) and mine is 2091 so a "gain" of approximately 50cc?

What you are saying is spot on and totally correct. You are referring to swept volume not total capacity.
What's nice about cars with artificial aspiration is that unlike an n/a car the combustion chamber is also filled.

Regardless you have an 1850 nine it another 50cc it's damned close to 2L.

I wasn't trying to say you a are cheating or anything it just helps explain why the car does such a great job of spooling that big turbo as opposed to something like charlie's old car or pats car.

While capacity helps, it just looks like a well considered system build with clever things that I suspect were thought out rather than guessed at.

Short manifold with a heavy casting will keep the exhaust to the turbo hotter than many set-up and spool like a beast while not having a great effect on top end.

Intake generally costs these more power than exhaust manifold, and that looks well catered for here too.

Regardless of anything else, that graph looks solid, the boost bounce would likely be slightly improved on the road vs dyno, and could be attributed to a number of things, particularly a cheap boost controller (not sure what's on this car though).

Should have plenty more left in her too - But I'd bet my broken retaining wall it's a pleasure to drive 8)

What shows that, the wiggles at the start of the torque plateau?

All I know about dyno sheets is that this one has a nice fat kw figure for an NB turbo. It is also has a nice flat power curve and a flat torque curve. I would like to see the Air/Fuel ratio readout as well.

I made a new dump for my NA6-T28 setup which came out ok, did some hillclimbs with worn out RSR's..

Then broke a couple of gears in one of many 5 speeds, fitted a 6speed and finally got a fresh tune from a mate in Sydney who's pretty good with Haltechs..(running an E8) It's running a 4.11 torsen so it's very short with the 6speed! 3500rpm @ 100km/h in 6th.

2 hours later with a hammer and using my Triton Superjaws as a vice and dolly I got this result..

Tune was on pump fuel and 550cc RX7 Injectors. (i'll switch to ID1000's when Ethanol is more readily on the pump. For now the car drives very smooth but lumpy idle 1000-1100rpm as the injectors don't appear to be able to pulse close enough together. It drives GREAT other than the wheelspin in 3rd if i'm a little hamfisted...

It was tricky but kinda like meditation! I love making stuff! (i'm just really crap at it) That's why I built this home-made $hitbox! :)

The exhaust manifold looks alot 'tidier' than that after I chopped off the whole base of the merge/flange and used some new thick wall pipe to make it stronger/cleaner.
