Build Day 1

Started the official build at 1pm.

Floors and tunnel - in
Fuel tank - in
Pedal boxes and steering column - in
Handbrake - started
Engine loom - started.

All in all, not bad for 4 hours work

shouldn't the frame have been powder coated first?

or are you going to take all the bits off and paint later?

loving your work so far.

Day 2

Doesn't look like we've achieved much, but the main dash and engine loom is in, fuel line, cooling, air filter, manifold and cat is in.

It probably does. I'm sure Dann has had it out for skids by now.

The first Exocet is pretty much finished. A few things like headlights, mirrors and the body panels are all that's left. I just want to point out how easy it is to build. With the exception of a few specialist tools like a hoist and brake flaring tool, the whole car can be built with a basic tool kit from Bunnings and a Gregory's MX5 book from Supercheap.
